Study of a Layered Plate Girder Element of Composite Materials and Its Applications

This study aims to provide an effective method the behavior of a steel–concrete composite deck. First, structural characteristics deck and challenges arising in computational analysis structure using general software are described. Then, LPGE element that combines plate girder into one conveniently construct model with high computation efficiency is proposed.
